I have a customer who has 2 partners and a dry pair in between the 2 with extension 35 of one system going to line 6 of the other. They want to change over to time warner, do you know of anything that will convert analog to digital to go over the internet. They don't want to have 2 bills.

By 2 partners, do you mean 2 Avaya Partner ACS systems?

Hook them up with two VoIP ATAs, one for each end. They are an inexpensive solution that only requires a small one-time investment.

Register for two free SIP usernames through a SIP provider, such as callcentric.com (I use them, highly recommended, they provide free SIP to SIP calls over their network). Configure the ATAs to register to the VoIP provider using the username and password for the SIP account you registered. You should then be able to dial between the ATAs using the 1777 number assigned to you (assuming you used CallCentric).

Connect each ATA to a free line port on your Partner systems at each location.

Configure ringing/line appearance accordingly.

Some ATAs have a hotline ability, so you could program them to dial the other ATAs username automatically, and whoever answers the call on the far end could transfer the call to the internal extension of whomever they wanted to talk to.

This is a simple explanation, but if this sounds appealing to you I'm happy to go into more detail.
