I know how to clear the message indicator light on my Platinum phones, but I have a IX-5930 which is all programable keys, so there isn't a message button to press to do the, FEAT, #, 8, Message trick to clear the indicator. Anyone know how to perform this feat? It is my own phone, so it is really a top priority. >:-(

Feat, # , 8 turns off lit keys. no matter what the key is used for, not just message keys. If you have a lit button that shouldn't be, FEAT, # ,8 will turn it off.
The large LED at the top of the phone is associated with a button in programming. By default, it's button number 36, which is the MESSAGE button on KTD 2s and 3s. IX 5930s have their own bunch of default key patterns in the 1000 range and button numbering that is different from the KTD and Platinum phones. So what you probably have is an IX-5930 using key pattern 1, with the LED associated with button 36 on a phone that doesn't have a button number 36.
The quick fix is to send a message to the mailbox associated with that phone, retrieve the message from another phone and let the voice mail system try to turn the light off. The beat solution is to get into programming and correct the key pattern of the phone. Then the FEAT, # , 8 stuff will work.

Thanks. I fixed the station key pattern and I also found where the LED was tied to a button. I've made the LED tied to button 52, which I also have setup as my MBox0 Key. Is that how it should be on a 5930?

MBOX0 tells the system to go to the mailbox with the same number as the extension that is calling in. You can associate the large LED to any key you want. Most times, it's whatever key you have specified as the MBOX key. As long as it isn't on button 36, you should be fine.
