I have an extension which is one among 30 extensions. When one office extension does #89, all call, extension 5287 cannot hear the page. When a 2nd office extension does #89 she can hear the page. Is there something in the programmer that controls this and needs to be changed or is this phone specific? We use the IWATSU 5900 phones.

Does each user actually dial #89, or are one-touch buttons programmed?

Is extension 5287 a member of the group being paged (all call group 125)?

I guess they said there is a one-touch button programmed. I'm checking on the 2nd part of the question. I know that ex. 5287 is the group with all of the other extensions in the building. Its labeled 7004. IS that what you are referring too? ill reply back once i look it up.

The station paging Group 10 is the group for the 30 extensions and 5287 exists in that group. Each of the admin 5910 phones has c-page 10 on their phones to initiate an all call. Ex. 30 appears to not receive the page from only one of the extensions which is in the group.

Are all of your phones 5900 series, that is, all IP phones?

It could be you lack MBU channels, especially if your page group is more than 24 ip phones. Does your MBU have any daughterboards installed?

The only thing that jumps out is that only the larger 5810 phones have a one-touch button for paging group 10. The smaller 5900s all have one touch buttons for page group 4, which only includes 3 extensions- 5261,62 and 63, while group 10 includes those 3 and all the way up to 5288.

Pushing the one-touch for group 4 will page those 3 phones, ext 5287 isn't part of that group. The only way 5287 will hear a page is if the page code 89 is dialed, or a 5810 series phone presses a button for page group 10.

The 7004 code you spoke of is an access code for station hunt group 4, for ringing phones as opposed to paging them.

I'd look at cleaning up key patterns and matching close proximity extensions as best I could to prevent confusion.

Hope that helps.
