I have a customer with the above now in 206 group 7 we have 2 co lines.
They want to have lines ring directly on ten ,no attendant
use x10 greeting and let customer leave message on 10.

I took out 206 and put lines to #208 and data x10
on test attendant doesnt answer and x10 rings with out going to greeting

Whats missing do i need to activate DND on 10.

Also make sure x10 has a mailbox.. they can be assigned to other extensions.

The only thing I can think of is that a mailbox is not assigned to x10. With my home ACS, mailbox #1 is assigned to x10.

Even though 10 is set as the covering extension in #208, try also setting the lines as VMS Coverage in #206-7. Remember that the lines must be set for Immediate or Delayed ring on the covering extension, not No Ring.

We have never had 206 set as on if 208 was deployed. Good catch on the no ring.

I got bit by that recently - set 206 to 3-VMS Line Cover instead of 1-Assigned or 2-Not Assigned. I agree, I've always set 206 to 2 when using 208, but this one system just would not answer until I did 206 to 3 with 208 assigned.
