My console suddenly started ringing constantly and the display 1st (of 2 lines) was all black. I unplugged it and plugged it back in, but still the same problem. Power cycled the whole system, no change. I changed the cord even plugged it in directly to the system, but same problem. I opened the console up to see what it looked like inside, after I put it back together it started working, I did not touch it for a few minutes and it started ringing again, it also sometimes said NO COMMUNICATION. I had another console in storage, when I plugged that one in everything worked but the display seemed very dim. I took the "not working" console to another property with the same system and it did not work there either. After a few hours when I plug in the "not working one", it works for a few minutes but goes dead (constant ringing).
If you have any information what the problem could be, I would very much appreciate it.

Boy it sounds like a bad console, and not the MCC. I'd use the one that has a dim display, and try to adjust it by pushing the contrast button on the right up. Resale Systems does a good job on Mitel stuff, they could probably repair the bad one for you.
