Hi Guys,
Looking to set up an auto-attendant/CCR on a Summit for night time & weekend operation.
Currently have the main number/DID ringing to station 100

I know under flexible DID Conversion (PGM 231) you have the following options
Day:
Night:
Timed:
Currently I have all options set to station 100 with preset forward to the mailbox.
(Works fine currently)

Now the question is what is the best approach for building the Auto-Attendant/CCR?
I would think the easiest thing to do would be to change Night operation to VSF-1
(Which is already recorded)

If it is as easy as that, how do you set hours of operation for night service?
(Is there a table I am missing?)

Also if you set to VSF announcement how does that tie to a CCR table?
CCR tables align with VSF announcements; correct?
In other words VSF 1 = CCR Table 1?

Sorry for the long question, this is just a bit of a new one for me

Yes, change the Night mode to go to VSF-1.

Yes, VSF 1 = CCR Table 1

"Auto Ring Mode Table" will control the hours of operation. You'll normally use Index 0. The Attendant Station will need to by in "Auto Ring Mode".

Thanks NFC,

Can you elaborate on The Attendant Station will need to be in "Auto Ring Mode"?

Essentially a night service button?

Thanks NFC,

Bear with me...
So if I understand this correctly if I have populated Auto Ring Mode Table PGM-233 (per the business hours)
Day Start Time: 0800
Night Start Time: 1700

I now have to put the system into Auto Service Mode per your instructions (below) for the table to take effect?
(If your phone service has been programmed to change your Ring Mode automatically, select option 4 in Step 2.)

This way the system will use this default setting all the time unless you wanted to change it manually?

Great... thanks

Do you know if you can create a button for manual night and one for automatic?
Not that using the instructions is difficult. Most customers including this one that came from a Nortel are familiar with a night button.
