What headset are you guys using for the new 5xx phones? I was told that the new phones don't require a lifter. I see 2 holes on the side of the phone. One says headset the other EHS??

The plantronics headsets work well and for the wireless ones you can get a lead that plugs into the 5xx and it will electronically of hook when you use headset button
