We have the Vodavi STSe KSU with a flash voicemail card. Recently I started seeing blank voicemail messages not specific to one station. I was able to recreate the problem by calling a station from a mobile phone and hanging up in the middle of listening to that station's message. After disconnecting the call I could see the CO line still active for 22 seconds. This answers why there are blank voicemails. Internal station to station calls does not create this problem. Do you believe this is related to the service providing the CO lines or the STSe? I would not believe it is related to the flash voicemail since internal calls cannot reproduce the problem.
Thanks, Aaron

Yes, it is most likely related to the provider. It sounds like they are not sending a disconnect signal.

Thanks NFCPhoneMan. I will check with Comcast who provides our VoIP service. I have backed up and restored the STSe DB many times but is there a backup for the flash voicemail? I would hate to loose the auto-attendant recordings we have.

In our local area, Comcast has been "upgrading" their services for the past year or so, and many times, this results in odd changes in on the analog lines that are being provided. Lst week a customer lost thier hunt group and the lines had call waiting on the lines. Not a good thing for a business service on a key system.
The Comcast people don't seem to understand how these things can be a disruption. My point being---NFCPhoneMan is right on---and do not be surprised if there are a few other things that Comcast has done to the lines.

Thanks for the insight JWRacedog and NFCPhoneMan. I better at least write out a text file what we recorded for all the prompts.
