WE just installed Xarios Hot Desking with the Xarios App Server connected to a Axxess Version 7 system. The Hot desking is working fine as far as I can tell. We are using Agent IDs to log into a Hunt Group that Xarios uses to reroute calls to the various Agents. The users (at least 2, of 13) complain that they have to login every 10 minutes or so. One time they said that when they tried to login they got a "Invalid Extension" message on the screen. I say they are not entering the feature code or something and they are certain that they are. Has anyone seen anything like this? Where the agent is logged out at random intervals? I know that if the code 328 and the agent # is entered elsewhere then the original agent (wherever that phone may be) will get logged out in order for the new agent to login. That is all I could find at the Inter-Tel KB.
Comments suggestions as to what is happening appreciated.
Thanks

I had a situation with Xarios hotdesking, but it may not help you. Xarios and the phone system may momentarily loose connectivity with each other. When this happened, CCS would show some agents as available, but would not route calls to them. Restarting the application server (Xarios application only) would fix the issue.
Xarios comes with Phone Manager. Different levels of phone manager allow remotely log in/out of agents. Is the keymap on the phone wrong. Are they logging out when they think they're doing something else. I'm just throwing out ideas.

Interesting that the calls would not route properly. We don't have a key on the keymap, but considering that a user assumed they were logged out because she didn't see her name on the screen (there was a message about mailbox messages on it)! Her name was Janet and her middle name should be "From another Planet"
Thanks for the tip on the CCS
