Hi, I am having a call-forwarding issue and was wondering if someone here had an answer.

Right now, I have calls to my 610-xxx-xxxx forwarded to 215-xxx-xxxx. This 215# is an Inter-tel 8560. I now want to forward all those 610-xxx-xxxx calls to my cell phone. When I enter the Verizon call forwarding code of *72 on the Inter-tel it keeps giving me a message of invalid page zone. Since it is a business #, Verizon tells me they can't forward from their offices. Is there some way I can bypass the features of the Inter-tel 8560?

I've tried "Outside Call", I've tried dialing "8" first to no avail. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Where is this 610 number located at? That is the number you need to forward, well first remove the forward to the 215, and then forward to your cell number. Leave the Inter-Tel system totally out of it.

If 610-XXX-XXXX is a DID to an extension on a networked system or IP phone off your system why not just forward your phone? Guess I'm looking ofr more info to help you .... feel free to look up my profile and call me and I'll see if I can help

Ed,

On your keyset press the FWD key.

It will prompt you for a fowarding type - (Choose All).

On your display hit - Outside Phone.

Enter your cell # in and you are done.
