Hello.
First I apologize for my lack of knowledge. We have an Inter-Tel AXXESS with Inter-Tel DB Studio 6.006. One of our phone lines needs to be replaced and we have company that will come in and run a new line. I want them to run the new line to the same digital keyset on the PBX so nothing would change. I found the users extension on the keyset but how can I trace that back to the distribution block? I am not sure how to locate the keyset on the system as well.
Under the Keyset, it shows Port = 01:14:05 and Circuit = 1.
Let me know if more information is needed. Thanks in advance.
James

Hello James. Welcome to the forum.
The circuit in question would be 14.5. The 14 designates what card it is on and the 5 designates the fifth circuit on that card.
Note: The circuit would need to be punched down to the new cable on whatever pair corresponds with pins 3 and 6 in the jack.

So the cable guys could punch down the new cable anywhere on the 66 block as long as the 25 pair cable that connects to the card matches up with it? As in, take the existing pair and move it to the new cable to be punched down?
