Is there a way to download info from this vm into a laptop? What kind of soft ware,what kind of info? I would like to see a mailbox directory, so I can clear out vacant boxes.

Actually, although there is no gui available for Merlin Mail like there is for Merlin Messaging, there is a serial port that you can connect to via Hyperterminal, 1200-N-8-1, and capture a configuration file that will tell you what mailboxes have been built and how the auto attendants are set up. You still need to do the programming via the administrator's mailbox, but at least you will know what to do when you get there. Use the serial number on the unit as the password.
