I have a customer that has 19 locations with a total of 177 phones. Many small offices...no location has more than 20 phones. Would you recommend IP Office...I heard that IP Office can only have 16 IP office units networked together in a "small community". What does that mean?

It means that you can only have 16 ip offices connected together. It wouldn't be able to accomodate the additional locations beyond 16.

An IPOffice 406V2 will support up to 190 extensions fully maxed out. I would say depending on the number at each location, they could use either SOE (Small office edition) or an IP406V2 at each location. They are great little systems and they can be installed with a mix of IP or digital telephones. They can start as all digital and migrate to ip phones when they want.
