I have a customer that wants CID to not show on a few peoples phones, or not show at all. DONT ask me why they dont tell the LEC to not send the CID info, this is what they are asking of me.
It is my understanding (and bad memory), that I could stop it from passing IF I have the Partner Messaging R7 answer on Zero rings. COrrect?
If I wanted to stop it on a per extension basis, I can have those extensions Set for Delayed ring, or no ring, which would prevent it from passing???
Are there any more ideas? Besides telling the customer to turn off CID.
Thank you for your time.

You are correct about the 0 ring to the PM. And yes if a ext is set to no-ring the CID won't pop up on the phone, but they could always just press the line button to see the CID.

Or the replace the phones at those extensions with Partner 6's or 18's (non-display models).
