I have a Hampton Inn that has landed in my lap. I am trying to get pricing of calls to the PMS serial port on the Call-a-Matic. Right now when a call is made it is passed to the Call-a-matic via 200 ICP printer port...priced...and is displayed on the Callmatic then printed to Okidata...works great...however I can't get anything via the PMS serial port to my laptop... before interfacing it to equinox cable on the server. I am using 1200-8N1 ...same as other serial port...I have tried straight thru and X-over cables...can't even get garbage out of the PMS serial port. I am using Hilton 21/OnQ protocal. Any ideas?

I think the Call-a-matic needs the PMS port enabled. Some units are sold without the interface turned on to keep the cost low.
