Trying to find a solution.
We have several locations with Mitel 5000's that are all connected over MPLS.
But our current issue to resolve is: location 1 has a Mitel 5000 Location 2 has phone's hanging off this Mitel 5000 all running on VOiP.
We now have a need to have numbers from Location 2 to ring at location 2. Location 2 doesn't have any dialtone except one line for 911.
The Telco's are saying that since location 2 is just out of the region of Location 1 that their solution can not have area codes from location 2 ring to location 1's phone system to then go to location 2 via hunt groups.
Can we bring in copper lines and some how use the gateway device to bring them accross on the MPLS from Location 2 to location 1 so that they can then be hunt grouped to users in Location 2?
Thank you,
TysonMM Seattle, WA
