Installed a NEW SMDR6 on an MICS7.1. After 12-24 hours it "prints" only record lost. Capturing data to PC with AlphaCom (terminal emulation software) 115200,8,N,1 both PC and SMDR. Tried different port on MICS, same result. Only resetting (power off, power on) SMDR device will revive information. Any other tricks before replacing SMDR?

There is a firmware upgrade for the SMDR6. Verify your Boot and download codes are both 30ALC19. If you need instructions on how to do this, let me know and I can email to you.

ive ran into problems and it was the smdr settings with the call record try diffrent
baud rates as well

Firmware is 30ALC19.
sentrex1, SMDR settings? I need Norstar, CLID if possible, which one did you get to work?
