Have a customer who has a MICS w/ Release 1 T1 software and an Application Module II for voicemail. They have 9 analog POTS lines on the system. These 9 lines all appear & ring at the receptionist phone, 221. They want a backup receptionist, ext. 284, to take the calls if 221 does not answer. If no one at 284 answers, calls are to go to the general delivery mailbox.
Here is what is programmed: 221 has CFNA set to 284 after 3 rings. 284 has CFNA and CFB set to ext. 249 (which is the DN for voicemail). Problem is, ext. 284 has a personal mailbox and the calls are going to the personal mailbox instead of going to the general delivery mailbox. If I leave the programming as is and delete the mailbox for 284 the calls then go to the general delivery box as desired. However, 284 is in need of a personal mailbox. What would you suggest be done differently to remedy this situation?
