My technical expertise is about a 7 on a scale of 10. I bought an 824 system from a bankrupt business and was wondering if this unit is CID ready on lines 1-4. Been reading all the on line info I could come by! The installed CPC card has two eproms labeled VB-42551. Does this mean I have caller ID? Is this the same as the VB 42551 A-CID? Read somewhere that the required VB 42551 module 'mounted at the top of the cabinet'. I am referring to the card in the CPC verticle slot. I also understand that a a CPC-M card is also required for the CID to function. Where would this card/module be installed - a linked diagram would be very helpful. Thank you in advance!
