I have only worked on CTX 100 + 670's but the cable between my Lan port of my laptop and the Lan connection on the processor board of the CTX is a crossover cable. also make sure your TCP/IP setting on your Lan port is 192.168.254.251 with a sub mack of 255.255.255.0 Originally posted by alphaTex: Hello Board, I am trying to change a few things on a CTX28 system that is already installed and working great. One thing I want to do is add "on hold" music and change a few names in the directory. I have a copy of WinAdmin & its manual. My question is, what kind of cable do I need to make to connect to the main board from my computer? Where do I connect to on the board and does it connect to my serial output on my computer? any wiring diagrams or references would be greatly appreciated.
