Were all lucky to have great places like these on the web nowadays!
ISSUE:
I would like to somehow modify either my wiring or the circuitry of the Toshiba EKT6520 phone I have here to work at home. Is there a way I can get it to work without using a "system"
Please excuse my ignorance for this subject.
I just have an extra one of these from my office and I would like to make it possible to use this phone in my house.
Thank you!
-Chris

It is not possible to convert either a DKT or an EKT to work as a Single Line phone. Period.
Its like try to get a Diesel car to run on Ron97 petrol.
Funny thing was, a decade ago, we have customers complaining to us that some of their phones were stolen. The sad thing is, once the thief realise that there expensive DKT2020-SD phones cannot "work" in thieir homes, they threw it away.
