Let me describe what I ideally want our phone system do:
a) outside caller calls our number 201-489-0964 and chooses extension 111 b) in Pathfinder Ext.111 is set to Supervised Transfer with hold enabled; c) ext.111 is busy d) the caller is asked to 1)leave a message 2)hold e) the caller chooses to hold f) the callser listens to a message that changes every day
I should be able to change the hold message (VOX file) using a VB script. If Pathfinder/Vodavi didn't intend to make it flexible for low-budget companies like ours, what's the point in having this feature?
Personally I don't like MOH. I'd rather be kept in void or presented with clicks. Your mileage may vary.
