Thanks folks - I do have an admin manual and I am the "admin" person for this system. I recall changing the ring timing on another station a few years ago but then we had a HD crash and I replaced it with a used unit that was set to go to VM after 10 sec.
It seems strange that when you buy a phone system, you don't really seem to own it!
