Thanks to all for the great posts. I have inherited and proceeded to cripple a Elite 48 system and the advice here has really helped. If I understand correctly my FMS(2)-u10 card only has two VM ports and that by living in Slot7, with a coid(8) in S4 and the MIFM in S2 the VM ports are numbered 09 and 10.
I have 7 extension MLT's and have assigned them 301-307. I have also assigned the VM ports 309-310.
My understanding of the docs is that my Master Hunt would be 309 -> 310 ->309. Is this at all right?
What I would like to do is have the 4 CO's ring at every station. If BNA then VM should answer. In the CoSessions app setup I have All Ports Greeting to a TBox that offers 1touch dialing to leave message for employee boxes. I also have P1 and P2 set to the same boxID. I am missing something big time. When I dial any of the Trk Numbers they just ring and ring. One time I was able to get into my VMail but not anymore.
Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Does VM answer if you dial them directly? 309 or 310.

Enter program mode & check MB 4-12 for the assigned extension numbers. For delayed VM answer of CO's you must DIT the CO ports to VM lead station number in MB 3-41, then assign delayed ringing(LK lit red)in MB 4-01 for the lead VM port. Hope this helps

actually..the port/ext is in 4-10
make sure that ports 9 & 10 have 309 & 310 in there.
to delay ring you need to either do the dit thing 3-41 (day) or 3-42 (night) and do a dit delay in 3-61 OR you could go to port 9 in program 4-01 and light up the lines to ring red (delay). doing both is redundant.
as far as the vm is concerned here are some other things to check: 7-1 make sure the card is assigned to a slot (it sounds like it already is)
7-2 make sure that the ports are assigned as digital vm
4-10 station numbers need to be assigned to those ports
4-14 the lead port of the vm needs the master set to yes
4-15 port 1 of the vm needs to forward to port 2 of the vm. and port 2 needs to forward back to port 1. circular hunt
1-8-26 needs to have the pilot ext of the vm in there
3-42/43 already discussed
if you want to use the live record, 3-45 needs to be turned on for all trunks
========================================
just thought of something else. when you try to dial the 309 you get a busy. are you getting a busy as soon as you hit the 3? if so then your numbering plan has changed from the default. check 1-1-46. 3 should equal 001. if it doesn't then the 3 range is used for something else. by default all of the 100,200,300's are used for stations and 1,2,3 in 1-1-46 should equal 001 (code for stations)

WHAT I WOULD DO IS IN 4-12 PUT THE CO'S ON LINE KEYS THEN IN 4-01 MAKE THE LIGHTS RED FOR DELAYED RING. THEN THE VM WILL ANSWER WITH THE GENERAL GREETING, IN ACTION I WOULD HAVE THE CALLS GO TO OPERATER, IN THE OPERATER BOX INSERT ONE SECOND OF SILENCE THEN IN ACTION TAKE MESSAGE, THEN ALLOW THOSE EXT THAT SHOULD HAVE ACCESS TO THESE MESSAGES BE ALLOWED PUBLIC MESSAGES IN THEIR MAILBOXES. IF YOU NEED TO CALL ME EMAIL ME . <font face="Verdana, Arial" size="2">Originally posted by grgl: Thanks to all for the great posts.
