I assume you are connecting your paging port on the DS2000 to a paging system that requires DTMF input to select a zone. The paging port on the DS2000 is not designed to do that - they assume you are connecting directly to a paging amp. You will have to use a co-trunk port connected to your paging system. Also, your paging system will have to supply talk battery back to the trunk port so that DTMF tones can be transmitted. Also, it would be a good idea to put the trunk port into a group by itself (for example, group 98) and remove the trunk port from other groups. This will keep sets that have "Line" as their prime line setting from automatically selecting trunk you are using for paging. Please complete your profile.
