We have done 2 different T1 card installs in the last year, both proved to be disasters, NEC engineering had to send out a new T1 card with updated firmware after weeks of arguing between them and the local provider on whos equipment was at fault.
The 2nd company on the 2nd T1 install was worse, it has taken 4 months, this time both NEC and SBC were at fault but most of the problems were with the DS2000. Using system history data sent to engineering new system software and firmware for the T1 card was re-design and sent out to us. This has cleared up 99 percent of our problems with the channels locking up.
Have any of you through out the country have had problems with T1 installs. We are in St Louis, MO. Thanks for any input.
P.S we have a third install coming up.
We get old too soon, smart too late

Howdy ... I'm a DS2000 dealer and haven't heard of a lot of problems. A lot of my customers use channel banks, though, and thus the analog co cards. That tends to go real smooth. ------------------ Chris Reagoso CompuTelCo.com
