I/ve been looking around and thinking about the possible benefits to getting some continued education. Thinking network certification or A+. But I am having a bit of trouble getting a clear picture of the specifics of each.
Anyone have a A+, MSCE, Cisco or other certificate?

The A+ is supposed to certify computer experience level to approximately 6 months of "real world" experience. In the past I've not been too impressed with the level of knowledge that some acquiring the A+ have had. I understand they've changed the program somewhat, though, and a lot of employers do look favorably on it, so I guess if helps you get a job it's worth it! Somewhat the same with MCSE--a lot have studied for the designation but don't have a lot of experience. The Cisco certs are, I think, more difficult to obtain and are more highly regarded. These are generalizations, so if you have any more specific questions or issues, please post.
