Asus has a good name. They have been big in the pc gaming industry for years by providing really good high end motherboards and video cards. The also make really good laptops and netbooks. I prefer the Transformer (which has a docking station/keyboard option which I can share with the wife) over the IPad because Google Android software uses the latest Adobe Flash player which Apple will not.
