In all seriousness, if Corning balks, you might just need to go to small claims, and if the expenses associated with this bad spool of product are higher than your states' maximum small claims amount, then a full blown suit is in order. Then not only can you go for damages, but legal fees and recompensation for damage to your business reputation.
