Total newbie - sorry. I've got a VM box on my system that is configured for outcalling for urgent messages. If I enter a local phone number, the outcall works. I should mention that we are in a 10-digit dialing area. Local for me is AC 214. Dial pattern should be 9-214-xxx-xxxx.
I need the same box to be able to call a number in AC 713. Right now - that does not work. Since the Octel places the call through my PBX - the dial patern should be 9-1-713-xxx-xxxx.
So where and what should I be looking at? Is this an area code restriction table thing or should I be looking at dial parameters for outcall?
Just need some direction from an experienced administrator. Thanks in advance for any help.
