Mark, I was instructed by tech support to perform these procedures. They have a utility (8510.exe) which will copy a virgin set of vm files onto the flash card. You will need flash card reader/writer capability on your laptop for this to work. The guy at tech support has never seen this type of trouble before. BTW - the VM failed again the next day. This time I loaded the virgin files onto the flash card and only copied the backup of the greetings and name files to the flash card. I logged in with keylink and rebuilt all the VM parameters (whew!). It has been functioning ok for 3 days now, I will post another update in a few more days and let you know the outcome.
