Would it be safer to reset the system by physically turning the system off then turning it back on using the old fashion method rather than using MMC#811(which could accidentally delete programming)?

I know on the Tie communication system, we could just turn off the power then turn it back on and the system would reboot itself.

However, I am not really sure about the Samsung System since its not the same as TIE Communications.

It happens to be in a mission critical situation(stock market trades)where any downtime can translate into hundreds of thousands in losses.

So I figure I would double check to make sure that there is no risk of loosing database/programming or any other problems in this type of environment(if I would to manually flip the system off then back on.

Please let me know.

Thanks.
