I am so glad to have found this forum. It doesn't seem like there are any other decent sources of information for this system anywhere else on the web. My office just purchased a Plantronics DuoPro H171N headset to try out with our Prostar 816 phones. Everything seems to work fine except that I have to manually lift the handset to answer the phone even when I'm using the headset. For some reason we do not have an instruction manual, just some booklets with a list of the phone's features. I read somewhere that I shouldn't have to lift the handset to answer the calls with the headset. Is this true? If so, how do I resolve this issue?
Thanks!

When I hit # I get "PROGRAMMING:" But after I type in "09" it just goes back to the main screen with the date and time. What am I missing here? Does anyone have any idea how else to make this work?
