I don't think I have ever seen anything quite like this ---but here's my guess.
1. Possible D-marc --larger black cable being the outside feed--small black wire being a ground. The greyish cable on bottom feeding #4. Open up box and put buttset on any terminal that looks like a telephone posts --see if you have DT.
2. Intermediate terminal box--taking a feed from box # 4 (white cable) Open up box and put buttset on any terminal that looks like telephone posts (look for red/green)
3. Intermediate terminal box --taking feeds from box #4. Open it up and see. Test for DT
4. Possible 2nd D-marc. Seems to be fed by black wire and feeds other boxes including box #5.
5. Terminal box being fed by box #4. I see nothing going out of it though.
The two boxes that have the large black flat cable going to them would be d-marcs at one time--if the black feed cables are coming from the outside and are telephone cables and not TV Cable feeds. The main thing is to open box #4 and see if you can get any DT. It looks like at one time there may have been separate services for different families. Or they just liked to put redundant boxes on the wall. Good Luck Is this in the USA? Where are you located? Fill out your profile. Is this a test?
