We moved a Medley system and it will not come back up. Any ideas? ESI laughed at us when we asked for tech support. Seems like the hard drive is out. Any ideas.

Check the power supply? Then sent some out with bad supplies. Do you get a red light when power is applied?
If it is the Harddrive, you need to get a replacement or upgrade system.
AABLE COMMUNICATIONS should be able to help with replacement.
Good Luck!!
If all else fails, use a BFH.

These run on software on the Hard drive. Any power outage (planned or not ) can result in system failure. It's very common for them to not boot after a shutdown. Any tech who has serviced Medleys for any length of time knows to bring 2 drives when going to work on one. And no, there is no controlled shutdown procedure that can prevent a boot failure next time. You really take your chances when you unplug these, unfortunately. I think your right, check the fuse first. If not, a replacement drive usually fixes it nine times out of ten. Aable sells drives for these on their website. www.aablecommunication.com. ------------------
