Hi all,
I'm having an issue with a smaller business lately; recently, we had an issue where the users wanted all of the phones to ring when the main line rang, so I added a softphone button linking them to the main line, causing their phone to ring (I'm not sure if this is best practice!). However, now we have a new issue where the main line rings and the receptionist answers; she then transfers it to another phone, and upon doing so the main line is completely tied up and only registers a busy signal to outside callers. The phone that the line is transferred to hears the busy signal, but otherwise there is no other indication that an outsider is calling. Is there a workaround for this? I'm not even sure if these two items are related... thank you in advance!
