Going to a PRi could be problematic in sorting out who can call from which channel and what calls could come in on what channel.
Maybe your terms are mixed up. Crosstalk is hearing one conversation on a line that is actually taking place on another line, it has NOTHING to do with forwarding.
Do you have crosstalk?
If this forwarding and unforwarding is done by the carrier, NOT by your local box and probably not, then you need to talk to the switch staff at your carrier.
I don't know who your carrier is, AT&T, Verizon, local CLEC like Telepacific or Paetec or such, but you need to get past the business office and talk to the person at the switch. Start a trouble ticket and go from there.
