sorry for the cross post... I am trying to figure out the right system for our needs. Anyone have thoughts on ToshibaCTX 28 vs NEC DS1000. We are a small ecommerce biz ( www.cascademedia.net) with 6 employees. We need voicemail etc, but mostly want the most reliable system.... thanks in advance Frank

Chech the company that will be installing it. That will tell you loads and what you need to know. IN that size range and price range you are getting what you pay for so service is going to be key for you.
Good Luck!

I completely agree with Coral. Both of those systems are fine systems. The questions you should be asking are: Who is going to install it and set it up? Who is going to maintain it? Will they guarantee a response time to a service call? Do you have faith that they really have an interest in your business and your needs? Ask around, check references. The installing company is probably more important than he system, especially where smaller systems are involved.
