Don't know if this is same with VXC but most likely. You know there is someone on this site that sells Flash drives for replacment.
All software security information for the INFOSTAR/EVX system is contained in the C:\MAIL\QVXCFG.INI file. This file is encrypted in a way that ties it directly to the hard disk drive onto which it was originally installed: it will not function if transferred to another hard disk drive. When restoring a backup of an existing INFOSTAR/VX system onto a new system, make sure not to overwrite the content of this file. Create a backup copy of the original C:\MAIL\QVXCFG.INI file so that the encryption information it contains is not lost. At the “C:\†prompt, type: ‘COPY C:\MAIL\QVXCFG.INI C:\MAIL\QVXCFG.ORG’ and then press ENTER. Failing to backup the site database can result in catastrophic data loss.
