I have an upcoming job that specifies Panduit cat 6 jacks. I've looked at these jacks but never used them (I'm a Leviton guy) and I'm wondering if using the EGJT termination tool is the proper tool. Or should I get a Panduit head for my Jack Rapid tool?
Also, on the patch panel end, they've spec'd a DPKR48688TG panel. This includes the jacks, I believe, and is not an empty panel. How are the cables terminated on the panel? Are the panel jacks different than the CJ688TG jack at the wall plate in some way? Or do they actually come out of the panel for terminating?
Thanks! Jim
