1. Could a power surge of triggered the doorbell to ring on a phone system? 2. Could a power surge have caused a NVR( network video recorder) to skip ahead without recording? 3. Could a power surge have caused the other camera to go out for this time period. 4. Extreme coincidence that the NVR screws up during the Ding dong ditch attempt. Highly unlikely it would correspond down to the exact second of the ring I would think.
This is my primary and most plausible theory. I don't think civilians or pranksters have equipment which can caused these type of things to happen? This would have to be NSA level stuff I am thinking.
I don't even want to think about the supernatural phenomenon option or else I won't ever be able to sleep again. You really don't want to mess with the elevator inspector. That was just a warning... -Hal
