The battery failed on one of our IDS systems. It lost its VMS and VMI options. I contacted Mitel and received a program called Secure.exe and VMI-VMS.OPT file. It didn't come with instructions. Connecting, choosing restore, hitting send and choosing the file didn't work.
I logged on with level 10 access. I'm not sure what to try next.

Thanks

That file is a 16 bit EXE. I had to run it in a VM running Win XP.

Loaded it up on an older PC running XP and ran it in a command prompt. It does load up.I have to wonder if it is meant to be loaded through a modem? That's how I would think that Executone /Mitel would have done it. There are a couple of guys on the board here who may be able to help you out.Look up jjmaly

all you have to do is Restore the VMI-VMS.OPT file. don't even need level 10...
