3. Caller-ID log options. There are two call log options; Personal caller ID log and common caller ID log. Personal caller ID log stores calls that are answered by the extension or direct CO calls to the extension. Common caller ID log stores all calls coming into the system; answered or not answered.
Notes: Caller ID log priority name, number IF caller ID name is selected, caller ID name will displays first. IF caller ID number is selected, caller ID number will display first.
Common area call log check Grant extension permission to access caller ID stored in common log.
Call Log answered calls Select BOTH to log both answered and unanswered calls.
4. Program caller ID indication and selection key on each extension To retrieve caller ID information, both caller ID indication/selection keys must be programmed. Caller ID indication/selection personal – retrieves personal caller ID log. Caller ID indication/selection common – retrieves common caller ID log.
Caller ID indication key: Manually log caller ID or retrieve existing caller ID log. Caller ID selection key: scroll caller ID log information on each log entry (name, number and date & time)
Note:
Caller ID indication key lights on un-retrieved NEW caller ID log only. IF the caller ID log has been retrieved previously or caller ID has been logged from previous calls, caller ID indication key will not light.
You may toggle the standby display on PT phones by pressing the * key (date, time and extension number & name)
