If you're not afraid to open the phones and get out a soldering iron, Viking Electronics makes a handy little package that comes with everything you need, including a small paging horn. This will address not only the loud ringing situation, but will also allow for loud paging when calling the station via intercom. I've used these on several different systems, even IP sets.
