Thank you Touch Tone Tommy. Whenever an AA recording is sent to Partner Messaging over the LAN using the administration software, it must be sent as a WAV file encoded in the GSM 6.10 format, sampled at 8KHz, mono. Luckily, Window's Sound Recorder can encode in the GSM format (and SoundForge too). Goldwave, a widely available shareware, doesn't recognize the GSM WAV format. AFAIK, the manuals don't reveal this highly important tidbit of information.
