If a transferred call is unanswered within a programmed number of rings, it rings back at the transfer originator’s telephone. This transfer return time can be set to a value of 1 to 9 rings, or 0 (the factory setting is 4 rings). If the transfer return time is set to 0, a transferred call continues to ring until either it is answered or the caller hangs up. A returning transferred call continues to ring on the telephone set to which it was transferred and on the extension that originated the transfer until either user answers or the caller hangs up. These options are programmable using WINSPM or the console phone. Check to see that your group coverage delay is greater than your transfer return time.
