The short version of a rather long story is that I've put together a Frankenstein MAP5 for a desperate customer by using their original box, plus some spare parts.

The unit comes up great, except that it continues to interfere with my programming by scrolling "SPM: Can't open comm port, errno = 6", followed by "Open /dev/tty00 failed".

All that means is that the Megaport board (a serial/ethernet combo board used for remote access) is defined incorrectly. The drivers are there, but they're looking for this board at Base I/O address 280h, instead of 180h.

There's some kind of BIOS configurator called the "Lucent Remote Maintenance Board BIOS Extended Code 1.13" utility, but it requires a password. Anybody know what the password is? Is this even where I should be looking to set the board's memory and base I/O address?

I believe the Megaport board STREAMS drivers are a revision 2.24a, which are supposed to eliminate the need to manually configure this board...but it ain't happening.
