I'm a data guy helping out a friend move is office. He has a Lucent Partner ACS with 2 POTs lines coming in. My question is: At the new office do I order 2 standard POTs lines and have the telco make them roll over or do I only need 2 pots lines and the ACS will handle the rollover?
Once that is solve, I then come out of the extension ports on the ACS to my 110 block and punch down to each extension via 4 wire circuit.
I should be able to power down the unit and move it and install the 2 new lines? Am I close? :-)
