I have a customer that has a Merlin magix system. They have a phone at the front desk (4424ld+ ) that does not show the display. They replaced the phone and the second phone does the same thing. You can dial out on the phone fine, but no display. I thought it might be a contrast issue but could not see how to change it. Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this. Thanks

The LD+'s display requires an external power supply (plugged into a non-switched AC outlet) and the use of a 4 conductor cable to connect it to the telephone unit. Here is a picture of the power supply. Note 1 jack is labeled "TEL" while the other is labeled "LINE".
