Seems to me that the steps would be to dial #00 (pound zero zero) to put the station into programming mode, dial #950 on an available button, then #00 again to exit programming mode.

Other than testing LEDs and the ringer, does the T/P switch on those phones have any use on a Legend?

pulling down the t/p switch puts the phone into phone programming

up does the leds , ringing.

i think you may be thinking f00 for partners .

Actually, Tim is right on (as usual)

Spkr (on Intercom or SA) and #00 gets you into programming on a Legend. Spkr again to exit.

It's been so long since I've seen a BIS set on a Legend, it's possible that the T/P switch doesn't work for programming, but one or the other approach should work.

So the final result this system had page as a line pick up and went right back With *950
go figure .
